inside-illusion asked: When a anti-choicer uses the “It may not be alive yet but you are destroying potential life” argument. What would you say against that?

That having a period or jerking off also destroys “potential” life. The fact that you are not having sex at this minute is technically obstructing potential life. An egg is not a “potential chicken,” it’s an egg. An acorn is not a “potential tree,” it’s an acorn. It has the potential, but it needs the right circumstances to become something else. A willing uterus is one of those circumstances that “potential life” needs to flourish.
